Hi, I started Aikido in 1979 at the age of 11 ,under the instruction of Sensei Brain Mullay at St Mathews Sport Centre in Leicester .
I continued my training for a number of years under the guidance of Sensei Dave Lenton in Leicester.
With Dave moving away I trained at a number of clubs throughout various area's ,settling to train with , Sensei Paul Turner at our sister club,Loughborough Students Aikido Club.
I have through-out my time in Aikido trained with a number of visting sensei .
I consider myself fortunate to have trained and continue to train with so many people in a martial art that any-one can practice irrelevant of age, gender and ablitity
There are a number of reasons why people start training, but why I continue to train , it's the endless journey of improvement and refinement.

Paul Turner

　
Sensei Paul Turner started training in Aikido at University of Warwick Aikido Club in 1979 
Paul contuined his training, expanding his knowledge of Aikido, in 1999 Paul became instructor at Sheffield Hallam University Club 
Moving to Loughborough in 2005 ,Paul contuined training and became the pinciple instructor at our sister club of Loughborough Student Aikido Club
